Description
Few minutes ago I noticed a lot of unexpected files in download directory.. after some research (file names, such as "_padding_file_3_if you see this file, please update to BitComet? 0.85 or above" were a good hint ;) ) I've found this: http://blog.bitcomet.com/post/1066/
It's not so major problem, since torrent is working fine (at least I hope so.. ) but those "padding" files in download directory are quite irritating.

I will add my voice to stop this insanity, do not implement this to support a broken client.

Stealth advertisement... Do I really need to express my feelings towards this 'extension'?

OK.. I've read about this extension on a few sites.. forget I ever mentioned it ;)

That's an exceptionally stupid extension. Sounds like they were trying to work around a problem in their own client (File A doesn't complete if File B is set to not download? How broken is that?!) by essentially making all other clients download useless data, since the download size is bloated by on average half a piece per file. So on a 10 file torrent with 256 KB pieces every single peer is downloading over a megabyte of junk.
I think the proper course of action would be to convince these people to stop this insanity, instead of furthering it in any other client.
